DINARD FILM FESTIVAL
We were proud to have taken part in the 23rd Festival du Film Britannique de Dinard, in Bretagne, France, where Island Pictures’ film The Scapegoat played to packed houses.
Island Pictures’ producer Sarah Beardsall, and writer/director of The Scapegoat, Charles Sturridge, were in glorious Q&A attendance. No wonder the good folk of Dinard queued in the rain.
There was even a scuffle for tickets! Qu’est-ce qu’on va faire?
THE SCAPEGOAT IN COMPETITION AT CHICAGO FILM FESTIVAL
Island Pictures’ THE SCAPEGOAT has been selected for the main competition at the 48th Chicago Film Festival, 11th – 25th October, 2012.
The line-up is illustrious, including films from the Taviani brothers, Bille August and others.
THE SCAPEGOAT is the only British film to be selected this year, so we are honoured indeed.

The Island Pictures delegation took Cannes by storm.
(In fact, one cinema literally had its roof blown off. What can we say?)
Island’s international sales agents, Content Film, trailed our film, The Scapegoat, in their viewing room on the Croisette.
